Syeda Fatima Ghulam Ali

Syeda Fatima Ghulam Ali, winner of the Clinton Global Citizen Award, 2015, and the General Secretary of Labour Liberation Front Pakistan (LLFP), is a human rights, in particular labour rights, activist who is widely known for her enormous work in eradicating bonded labour in Pakistan. Since her engagement with LLFP, she has helped release over 80,000 bonded labourers, despite being threatened and attacked numerous times. Lately, she was also featured on the Humans of New York.

 

Naeema Naeem But

Naeema Naeem Butt, the winner of the UN Emerging Leader Award 2014, is the CEO and President of Pehlaaj-theatre for social change. Her organization, one of a kind, aims to promote peace in the oppressed communities of Pakistan through the use of performing arts.  She has represented Pakistan in a lot of international conferences and has been serving humanity by creating awareness about themes that include Interfaith Harmony, Right to Education, Child Labor, Environment and Gender Equality.

 

Laila Nusrat

Laila Nusrat, one of the top 100 most influential Pakistani women according to Newsweek and one of the 23 exceptional individuals that are making a palpable difference in creating a better Pakistan, according to The Daily Times, founded the Bali Memorial Trust in 1997. Since then, she has been working, vastly, with impoverished communities through primary and technical high schools, clinics and hospitals, shelter homes for girls, old people’s homes, women’s crisis centres, and more interestingly, a helpline which provides free health care.
